Does Retinol still work even with irritation present?

I use prescribed Retinol 0.1% every 2nd or 3rd night. I often have extreme redness, itchiness and some slight swelling in patches on my face which goes away after a day or two. I am determined to soldier on until my skin becomes accustomed to Retinol. My question is, is the Retinol still effective even if irritation is present? Will the red marks left behind eventually be replaced with good skin?

How can I repair my badly damaged & prematurely ageing skin after too many TCA peels?

I’m 27 and about 5 years ago I ordered a TCA peel online all over 6 months. I did about 6 peels (I know way too many), and I have completely damaged my skin. I have really bad scars, especially under my eyes. I am starting to wrinkle under my eyes and my skin is just disgusting and uneven, I never had a problem with acne before. Now I wake up every day with new pimples and I have bad cystic acne, how can I repair my skin? Would dermarolling be useful? Does emu oil really thicken damaged skin?

After Coolsculpting, what happens to new fat coming into the body?

Why is this treatment not for type 1 diabetic people? Please correct me if i am wrong: Coolsculpting is killing fat cells around the treated area. Obviously, other fat cells in other areas still remain. I want to know what will happen to newly consumed fat? The body tends to store fat for “cloudy days” so I guess the new fat will be stored in non-treated areas, which can lead to weird deformations in normally thinner areas like neck, feet, etc.

Coolsculpting under the chin?

I am in my 30’s and always had a little excess fat under the chin from being a teen. What sort of success rate has this treatment had, and is it really as effective as liposuction surgery?
