Anti-Wrinkle Treatment and Eye Wrinkles
What does anti-wrinkle treatments do for eye wrinkles?
Anti-wrinkle injections work by injecting a small amount of a prescription-only medication into specific facial muscles. This medication leads to relaxation of the muscles which cause and worsen wrinkles. In the case of wrinkles around the eyes, commonly known as “crow’s feet” or “smile lines”, the muscle injected is named Orbicularis Oculi, which is ring of muscle around the eyes. It is important to remember that anti-wrinkle injections are a prescription-only medication, and should only be performed by highly trained doctor or nurse.
